Our Story
LOVE NERDS AT FIRST SIGHT
Our story began July 2017 at Nerd Nite Miami. We were introduced by a mutual friend while 'getting nerdy' at a monthly Nerd Nite event in Wynwood. We had an instant connection at first sight. Sparks were flying again at a Sunday Dinner party hosted by Marshall and friends. After that there was a first date for drinks, then a second date at the beach and now the rest is history. From that point we were together, spending most weekends adventuring around Florida. Marshall proposed at the beautiful Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens in April 2019.
In May 2019 we moved to Mexico City (CDMX) where we lived, worked and explored the rich culture and amazing food of Mexico. After our adventure in the south, we moved waaaay north to Marshall's hometown of Syracuse NY in December 2019. We spent a little time crashing Marshall's brother's place, then in January 2020, we moved into our historic home built ca. 1912 in the Westcott neighborhood of Syracuse.
We married on March 20th 2021 in St Augustine, FL after a covid postponement! The ceremony took place under an old oak tree at The Oldest House Gardens, a historic site in Florida. We we're happy to be joined by a small group of family and friends for the garden wedding celebration. Since then, we've spent the past four years exploring beautiful upstate NY, taking many trips to the Thousand Islands and the Adirondack Mountains for hiking and kayaking. But now our adventure truly begins....
